Creative Australia’s First Nations Arts and Culture Awards are a beautiful celebration of First Nations leaders.

It was an absolute privilege to document the event as well as create a suite of videos that were played on the night, showcasing the nominees and winners.

To create the winners stories we travelled to the artists’ hometowns and took a deep-dive into their life. With a deliberate behind the scenes feel, these videos are intended to feel like we’ve been given an intimate and authentic glimpse into their everyday.

The Creative Australia’s brand guide was our inspiration for the motion graphics created for the nominee videos. Using their shapes and colours we created an engaging showcase.

We also documented the awards night and created a wrap up video as well as a full event recording available to the public as a video-on demand.
